HALDEMAN FROM: CHARLES COLSON Doug Hallett continues to write memos, some solicited, others not. Usually they are highly provocative and every now and then contain a few good ideas. While I don't happen to agree with the attached, you might find his reasoning and his analysis interesting, at least worth reading. I remind you that Hallett one year ago today, told me that we had guaranteed the nomination of Muskie by launching Rogers' assault on Muskie. You can, therefore, draw your own conclusions on his political judgment.
