I'm sure this is going\nto be another wonderful experience for her.\n1 was interested to learn that your Stanford graduate is now\nin the Coast Guard. He managed to get himself a good base\nat Treasure Island and 1 trust he is not finding the experience\ntoo much of a waste of time.\nBoth Susan and I very much appreciate the scholarship\nsupport she is receiving from the JWT Company Fund and\nagain, we thank you.\nYou might be interested to know that our number two child -\na boy - starts college this Fall and he too, was a national\nmerit finalist. In spite of that, however, he did not succeed\nin passing Stanford's admission requirements, so be will be\ngoing to UCLA, at least for his first year.\nIt was good to hear from you.
