Dear Jeb:
Thank you very much for your thoughtfulness in
providing Dolores and me with tickets to the
Redskin game last Sunday. Needless to say, it
was one of the best Christmas presents we
received.
Hope all is well with you in your Inaugural this
week. We will be sure to say hello to California
for you. Have a Happy New Year.
Best wishes,
Sincerely,
Larry Highy

Dear Mr. Nodine:
I wish to bring to your attention the outstanding performance of
one of your employees. I believe her name is Miss Mary Mayfield.
She works on the second floor.
I had the opportunity to do some shopping at your store on Monday
evening and happened to be waited on by Miss Mayfield. Not only
did she take the time to show me several items on her floor and
the third floor, but also expressed a genuine interest in seeing that
I found the Items that I was looking for.
This kind of service seldom is found in today's automated and high
volume world, but she made shopping a pleasure and I wanted to
make sure that her service did not go unnoticed. Miss Mayfield is
a fine representative of your store. You should be proud to have
employees such as Mary representing Saks Fifth Avenue.
Best wishes for the holiday season.
Sincerely,
Lawrence M. Higby
