Monday, November 22, 2010 Page 1 of 1 January 11, 1973 MEMORANDUM FOR I JOHN EHRLICHMAN FROM : L. HIGBY Herb Kalmbach has called our office requesting that Frank DeMarco take over as Secretary fort the Foundation. He emphasized that in fact he's doing all the work on this now and that he would like to simply formally name Frank as Secretary. I raised with Herb, the question of whether or not it was not necessary for an officer of the Foundation to also be a member of the Board of Trustees. He said he would check this and reported back to me today that-that is the case. DeMarco would also need to be named a Trustee. I'm sure Bob would appreciate your thoughts on whether or not this is a wise move and if you could so indicate in a few words below, I would appreciate it. LH:pm CC: H.R. Haldeman January 4, 1973 MEMORANDUM FOR: FOLLOW UP FROM: L. HIGBY Follow-up in about a month in asking Dick Shearer and his wife over for dinner.
