Monday, December 06, 2010 Page 1 of 1 July 31, 1971 MEMORANDUM FOR: LARRY HIGBY FROM: BRUCE KEHRLI SUBJECT: Haldeman's Material in E.O.B. The following materials are in Room 522 of the E.O.B.: 1. Three boxes of 1962 campaign files. 2. Two boxes of 1960 campaign files. 3. One box of David & Julie clippings. (The latest coming around February 1969.) 4. Two file drawers of Nixon tapes. (Radio spots and speeches during the 1968 campaign.) 5. One box of miscellaneous garbage. (Clothes bag, flower, rain hat, etc. - Pat McKee stuff.) If our objective is to bring over everything from 1968 on, I suggest we bring the two file drawers full of radio tapes (they can be consolidated into one drawer easily and put them in the safe here in the office for the time being). I'm checking with WHCA to find the best way to store them. BK:dg July 9, 1971 MEMORANDUM FOR: H. R. HALDEMAN FROM: BRUCE KEHRLI SUBJECT: FYI - Eisenhower Silver Dollars Attached is a sample of the uncirculated edition. These are the cheaper ($3) of the collector's pieces. The more expensive ($10) proof sets will be ready in about one month. The President requested 10 or 12 of these for gifts - the first three of which were to go to Don Nixon. BK:dg LCIP July 7, 1971 MEMORANDUM FOR: JON HUNTSMAN FROM: BRUCE KEHRLI Could we please order a copy of Candidates, Issues and Strategies: A Computer Simulation of the 1960 and 1964 Presidential Elections by Ithiel de Sola Pool, Robert P. Abelson and Samuel Popkin (Cambridge, Mass. The MIT Press, 1965). Thank you. BK:dg
