FLANIGAN\nFor your information, the President has put very strong pressure\non Rog Morton to try to get Bob Wilson to remove Lee Potter\nfrom the Congressional Campaign Committee. The President\nfeels that we owe Lee a suitable appointment if this move is\nsuccessful, so you might keep this in mind.\nH. R. He particularly wants\nyou to explain clearly the problem with Sears and to make it\nabsolutely clear to Dent and the rest of us who are there that\nSears from now on is to report to Dent and is to work under\nDent's direction and within Dent's control.\nHe then wants to make it clear to Dent that if there is any\nproblem in this regard, and if Sears does not follow his directions,\nSears is to be let go.\nH.
