Rose sent this over to me; this is from the
best individual letter writer RN has ever had. She
spends much of her time writing to papers all over
the country on behalf of the President. Note the
Stationery she uses; we printed this up and subsidized
her operation during the campaign -- she wrote to
New Hampshire and Wisconsin for us.
My recommendation is that Magruder get in
touch with her -- and that we subsidize her again. The
cost in dollars is peanuts and the return in enthusiasm
and output would be enormous. She ought to be put on
mailing lists for GOP materials; she will do the rest
herself.
You might mention it to the President when we
have enlisted her services -- he will remember her and
is aware of her effectiveness.
