PAT BUCHANAN
Herewith the piece PJB did on the "Dirtiest campaign in
history, " as per RN's request. While this can be expanded,
methinks it will help greatly to get it into the national
bloodstream now - - while the instant history is being written.
Harrison Salisbury called me today to say the mail would be
too slow to send it over the Times wire. So, they may
be using it very soon. Will keep up with this.
Attached also is Ken Khachigian's first crack at things they
wish they hadn't said -- we will be working futher with thi
material, but wanted to run it by RN. Also, note Lofton's
"Things They Wish They Hadn't Said, 11 carried in MONDAY
this week. He is continuing the series. PJB has been in
touch with Jeffrey Hart and will star t working on the "analysis"
of the monograph.
