MEMORANDUM
THE WHITE HOUSE
WASHINGTON
April 13, 1972
MEMORANDUM FOR:
H. R. HALDEMAN
FROM:
BRUCE KEHRLI
BMS
SUBJECT:
The Conservative Case for
Richard Nixon
Pat Buchanon has all the materials needed to put together an article
on the Conservative Case for Richard Nixon but recommends that we
hold off until after the Moscow trip and until Ashbrook peters out after
the California primary.
His argument is that we shouldn't make the case too early and then
have some event come up that will promote criticism from the conser-
vatives.
Therefore, unless you have any objections, he will hold off on this
project until after the Moscow trip and the California primary.
