Referring to the note about Cahill wanting an appointment with the President, it was noted that the President will see Cahill if Bush recommends it. Of course, the President shouldn't get into a primary fight, however, unless there is a bad scandal -- Cahill is a much better candidate than Sandman. Charlie is a good friend but it was noted that he may be too far right for New Jersey statewide. Dave, this information has been passed to George Bush with the request that he contact you regarding the schedule proposal. EYES ONLY
