CONE IDENTIAL
MEMORANDUM FOR JEB MAGRUDER
On reviewing the articles in the March 6 News Summary
referring to the First Lady's volunteer trip the President
noted that we should be able to play this theme for at least
30 days. In following through on this it is suggested that:
1. The National Committee should put out an issue on
the First Lady alone.
2. You should put together a packet of material for
mailing to all editors.
3. Bud Wilkinson should distribute the same packet of
material to volunteer leaders and campus people.
Please submit a report to the President on what action is
taken to comply with the above request.
Thank you.
JOHN R. BROWN III
