Wednesday, February 04, 2015 Page 1 of 1 EXECUTIVE LG/King County F66-11-1/Emlichmen, John December 31, 1969 Dear Mr. Amulexen: I am certainly sorry that it wasn't possible for me to attend the farewell appearance of the King County Planning Commission at the Harbor Club earlier in December. Unfortunately I have been pretty well tied down here and haven't seen Seattle for a long time. But as one of the Planning Commission's oldest and best customers I have a warm place in my heart for everything the Commission has tried to do down through the years. I don't know too much about the new system or how it will work but Y think on balance the old order had a good deal to deserve recommendation. Please excuse me for not having been there at the wind up. It's something I would very much have liked to do. Yours sincerely, John D. Ehrlichman Assistant to the President for Domestic Affairs Mr. Fritz Amulexen c/o Tsao, Kinney & Associates 6th Floor, Central Building Seattle, Washington
