FG6- EXECUTIVE 1/- John
MEMORANDUM
THE WHITE HOUSE
WASHINGTON
May 20, 1971
MEMORANDUM FOR
TOD HULLIN
FROM:
EDWARD L. MORGAN
SUBJECT: John Ehrlichman appearance on Meet the Press
X
Well
as one who thinks that the more visibility John gets
the better off the President is, particularly as we head towards
the next election, I would think this is a good idea.
The argument against it, of course, is that is the White House
competing with Cabinet Secretaries and high visibility Presidential
appointees.
Therefore, I suppose on balance I'd be inclined to hold back until
after the first of the year, when we can get maximum election
mileage out of it.
