Dear John:
As you know our colleague, Dr X Houthakker,
has resigned as a Member of the Council of
Economic Advisers in order to resume his
Harvard professorship. We are, therefore,
inviting a few good friends and associates
to a reception in his honor in the Executive
Lounge, New Executive Office Building,
17th and Pennsylvania, from 5 to 7 p.m. on
Tuesday, June 29. I hope very much that
you can join us sometime during that period to
honor Henk.
