Mr. John Erlichman Presidential Advisor White House Washington, D.C. Dear Mr. Erlichmen: He are four Navy stewards stationed at the White House, who are presently in the process of initiating a corporation. It is our hopes, with this enterprise, to constuct a resort area within one of five oreas in the United States. We are hotel- and restaurant-field graduates representing Michigan State, Cornell and the Culinary Institute of America and we feel with this education and the various menagerial positions we have held in the mst, we are experienced and capable of starting an institution, desperately needed by America's mid- dle-class. Our route, our venture, our risk is the same taken by such successful businessmen as Hilton, Statler, Ritz, Cerl- ton and Valdorf. We ask for your assistance, Mr. Erlichmen, blease. We would deeply appreciate if possible any assistance in the legalities and proper proceedures in starting such a corno- ration, and of course any suggestions on your bart would in all seriousness mold our plans for the future develo ments. In addition, upon your recommendation, who would you suggest as a top-grade business lowyer in the immediate vicinity. We need this in order to instruct the survey team representing a local marketing agency as to lust how to conduct their research. We sincerely hope we haven't and will not waste your valuable time. le do however greatly reciate your tire, natience and consideration. Again, thank you. Truly yours, dongle Jan R.Dalyn James R.
