He has been a professional manager of food distribution and services at my college for the past two years, and I can testify that he is one of the most talented men at this type of work anyone has ever seen. He is interested in finding sometype of opportunity in the Washington D.C. area whereby he could put his experience to work. Do you have any ideas which might be helpful? What I have in mind is some references that you might provide for contacts around town. Thank you very much. Krogh Deputy Counsel to the President The White House Washington D. C. Dear Bud: Thank you for taking the time to talk with me Tuesday about my future plans. While I am extremely happy in my work here I feel that, at this time, it has hit a peak and it is now time for ne to move on. I want to remain in t the same phase of the food business, but would like to locate in a job that would demand creativity and has a broader scope than my present one: a country club, a resort, a company desiring quality work offer the types of situations attractive to me. Because of my age and experience, I can offer a company new and exciting ideas. You have seen some of the work that 1 an able to accom- plish; no doubt you have heard about other work I have turned out in the past. Attached is a resume for your convenience. I will appreciate any contacts you may be able to make for me. 1 look forward to hearing from you and, possibly in the near future, to seeing you. With kindest personal regards, Sincerely, RichardA.,Overby Richard Michard A. Overby S! Louis.
