Republican
National
Committee.
August 8, 1972
Bob Dole, Chairman
Mr. Bud Krogh
The White House
Washington, D. C.
Dear Mr. Krogh:
For more than a year the Republican National Committee
has been providing Republican leaders at the state and local level
with materials for distribution at registration drives, state fairs,
shopping centers and the like.
There are 12 updated issue pamphlets that deal with the
President's actions and proposals to address national issues.
We have also published several special interest publications
for distribution locally: Lincoln Day '72, Economic Priorities '72,
Promise and Performance, There -Is a Difference, Ouotable nuotes
and Facts Election '72.
In addition to these publications, we have begun an ongoing
project to provide speech materials to Republican spokesmen and
others connected with the re-election of the President. This
activity encompasses a series of Talking Papers -- speech inserts
on numerous topics -- and a set of reference cards and accompanying
brochure detailing highlights of the President's record, Pocket Facts
Election '72.
Enclosed are copies of these materials for your information
and reference. You will receive all subsequent publications as well
as revisions on a continuing basis.
I hope you find this material useful and would be pleased to
hear your reaction.
Sincerely,
10032
