Pres. (elect)Richard M.Nixon JAN 0 6 1969 The White House. Washington D.C Dear Sir; Today has been a day of thinking. And I couldn't help but think of some of the trmendious tasks that confront you in the comming four years. It seemed the least I could do is to offer my services, I did your predicessor. I am perposely late in this offering,as I wanted you to fill all the appointed positions first. And have some idea as to how to approach some of the situations.I know you are a very busy man at this time. If President Johnson has aquainted you at all with my writting, in the book I called BLIGHT UPON THE LAND you know that I do have the answers to the Tradjedy of man. And that I have offered a way of life such as man has never known. It is not a religious writting, though a religion is suggested in it,some. If he has not,a copy will be made available to you at your request. I have two copys of most of the chapters. And I will make a second copy of the rest of them for you. As is stated in the book,I am not commercialiseing on it. The knowledge within it should be the property of all mankind. And so it is my contribution to all mankind. It is my hope that one of the emediate things you will do with this knowledge is to further guard the health of our mitual friend Pres. Dwight D. Isenhour. I mentioned in a personal letter to President Johnson how that could be done. And from the lack of any further trouble with his heart,I believe the advice is being used.Heart attacts, as any other ailment of man,is just not natural. I hope you will accept my advice in the good intent it is intended, in that I hope you WILL NOT underestimate the viciousness of toxic man,as our late Pres. Kennedy done. It was not the intent of those that voted you into office that you risk your life in that be job. There are many of the tasks that I mantioned in the book that I am capable of doing for you.And I will if it is your desire. But as I have said befor I intend to fill no position but my oun.And I have some writting yet to do.I have a part of another book written, titled PROJECTS FOR THE WORLDS FUTURE PEOPLE. Some of these projects would dwarf even the largest of wars we have been involved in,in an economical sence. And all are designed to benfit all mankind. This too,is to be a contribution to all mankind. And it is my hope I will be able in the future to carry out plans to utilise my time in what I have called POSSIBILITY RESERCH. To figure all things in the many fields of endevor that can benefit man. This would be involved in geology, archiology, chemistry, electronics and the many others. Of course the funding of such a project would have to be planned. I truly hope that you have had a chance to read the many chapters of the book, If you have you can see why no government has ever really been successful, and what all sickness and desease is about, what the weather the world over is about and many other things. You also will know that we,at our time in life, will be able to leave a legasy to our children such as has not been possible in the past. And you will know too, that EVERY DEATH OF ANYONE IN THE PAST, HAS BEEN MURDER: I think of the confrontation that you and Kruschev had when you was vice President, when I think of the communist situation.Bu did you ever figure out that it was mental reverssion from a chemical imbalance in Kruschev's brain, that caused him to be so obnetious Thats what it was.All will learn soon that ALL PEOPLE ARE GOOD PEOPLE, IF THEIR SYSTEM IS HEALTHY ,AND THEIR MIND ALERT. In the studying of the many chapters one can see how it was that I knew that man was spray poisoning one another and all animal life, over a million years ago,in the describtion of the elephant having arthritus at that time. Arthritus is a result of the restriction of the blood flow by varrious and many ingrediants ,mainly Uric acid. As you can see, the book has many of the answers that can be valueable to any man, especially to one of your position now.I hope someday to talk to you in person to further explain a lot of the ides mentioned, if there can be a time found when you arn't so busy. I've really been known as a rather quiet individual most of my life, though my writting might indicate otherwise. But I assure you we would have plenty to talk about! I'm happy for your family that you will be in the whitehouse. Could it be there would be a marriage take place there?Give your daughter and Ikes grandson my congratualations. That surely will please the general. My wife and I wish you a Merry Christmas and a very good New Year. Most of all I wish for you a successful term as our President. May God Bless you and yours. Sincerely yours W.Ken Ferguson. Lerguson POISONS Chapter 115. 12-29-68 Central City,Colo. Dear Friends; Most people, especially they that would be known as laymen to the field of chemistry, think of a poison being those certain items labeled as such,by the druggists, the doetors or the chemists. We have not had occassion to delve any closer to the subject than that. NNZ Actually, anything that is non conducive to the many functions of the physical or mental systems, is a poisons. Even some,in fact quite a lot of the antiseptics are poisons under certain conditions. We consider salt as nesessary to our daily diet as food. Not knowing that our need of !t arrises as a result of the poisons that are induced into our system all the time, to a great extent. The sodium chloride of salt has a nutralising effect on the earbolic acád that we recieve in the air from storm, and that is dirrectly induced into our systems by voletile gases. But salt can be very poisonious to our system,as was evidensed about a year ago when a mild solution of saline water was given to babys by misstake for glucose, in a noted hospitol. Several babys died from this misstake. We think of formaldehide as one of the strongest of the antiseptics. And yet,it can bE very very poisonious. While it is a killer of most germs and viruses ,and is good to use in the general air, even a small amount on the skin will cause a chemical burn. This is especially true if one is quite toxic. But will burn without there being any toxicity. The insane people among us do use it to pressure into varrious parts of the body. Such as they can cause what has been called shingles, so that it is painful and difficult to breathe. They can cause sockets of the varrious joints of the body to be dry, and noisy, and eventually limit their use. The chemical burn from formaldehide can cause fibious tissue And this tissue becomes the same as scare tissue, useless ecept for the filling of space. while this may not seem very important, it has another meaning when it is considered that there is a limited amount of muscle tissue in the heart,1 for example. And the heart needs all it tissue to do its job. This same example is important when the plight of the kidneys is considefed. And though this is not the only means of destroying the heart or the kidneys ,it is one way it is being done. The sprayers use formaldehide a lot to destroy mucus membr,ne that the viruses can be the easier induced, after the evaporation of it.And it will cause a. dehydration of the cells of tissue by chemical burning,to where the cells need repair by the replace- -ment of pottassium. The cells can trigger the mechanism that lets the heart know they are in need of replenishment only if they have their proper fluids and pottasium. The restriction that is caused in the extremities can prevent this message from reaching the hear also, In all, these sections will not recieve replennishment at times. Resulting in Bergers Renners and other known terms of desease. The result is usually the amputation of some parts of the extremities. IN PLAIN WORDS, IT AMOUNTS TO THE SYSTEM DYING A LITTLE AT A TIME. The sprayers have used formadehide 1 to refrigerate and to freeze vegetables that I have in a well insulated box in a cellar room, sinee it is an alcol h base ingrediant. Also,hi done the same thing with carbolie acid. The one way one can determine which has been used is that if they are fronzen with formadehide they thaw out with no bad result, remaining firm. But with carbolic acid, they become soft, and 500 n would spoil. Apparently formaldehide has little effect on the Uric acid of Urine, though one thinks of it as a disspeller of filth. And it will aid Urie acid, as well as the many other ingrediants, in the removal of the elasticity of the skin and other tissue,so that it can cause the appearence of ageing in the face very rapidly. The removal of this elasticity can cause rigididy in the muscular tissue, 50 that it becomes difficult for one to flex any muscle, especially the back muscles in the bending or the lifting of any weight. THIS IS WHAT A LOT OF THIS SO-CALLED AGEING IS ABOUT. It is known that such ingrediants as formaldehide can cause the system to desire other alcoholic ingrediants for the purpose of dillution to dissapate it.And while this is one way of elliminating some of it,it becomes a chain reaction, so that it is thought that the drinking of alcohol is addicting. Alcohol, then, becomes a poison to the system because it does interrupt the chemical balance for digestion, it does dissplace to some degree the Lactic acid of the brain, causeing a chemical imbalance, which is known as insanity. Carbolic acid, which the sprayers use a lot in the making of storm, and to spray dirrect into people, can cause about the same result,as well as there are several ingrediants that can do the same. But it usually requires an ingrediant that is of an alcohol base. Of course the tissue of the brain is about the same as any other tissue, when it is considered for its durrability. Extensive damage to it for a prolonged period of time will result in permanent damage. THERE WILL BE SOME OF OUR PEOPLE THAT WILL NOT BE CAPABLE OF REBUILDING THEIR SYSTEM WHEN THE POISONING OF MAN IS STOPPED! Urie Acid, which most medical men have thought was a natural ingrediant in any Urine,is a result of incomplete digestion of vegetable matter. It seems there is a larger percent of it from the digestive tract of animals than from man.But man recieves this through his food when the animals excretion is used as a fertilizer. And so it has been a constant, and ever increasing sourse of the poisoning of man since the orrigin of man on this earth, until now,it has become quite a serious thing,in that all have a percent of the dillussions from this Ufic poisoning. And as man became more dellussionary as time went by, helped the situation to become worse by the causeing of a more incomplete digestion by the disrruption of the chemicals the system uses in the digestion of food. Most Americans eat some six times the food that their system requires for the reason that they must eat this much food for the system to gain enough food to maintain their system. Of course their system retains a lot of this Uric acid. And some of that excreted is used by the insane sprayers to spray into people.A check should be kept on all nurseing homes where the older people are housed, to make sure all such ingrediants do go doun the drains of the bathrooms. The older people would have the largest consentration of Uric acids in their wastes. The reson that most gain only about a sixth of the energy they should from their foods is because of the spray poisons that that disrrupt the digestive chemicals. These chemicals have been dissrupted to the extent that the system has come to the point it cannot even produce the digestive chemicals, in many cases. For instance, if the system cannot produce HYDROCHLORIC ACID, ,one of the main seven chemicals required for digestion, he has then, PERNICIOUS ANNEMIA. And this chemical then must be supplied from an outside source, such as pills or capsules. It is possible that one might think this was a natural failure on the part of the physical system of an individual. But then how would one account for the fact that the colored races have practically no record of pernicious annemia? Since Uric Acid is practically insolable in water it isnear impossible for the system to dissapate it on its oun, ,unaided. This is especially true if by voletile gas,it is induced into the fleshy places that don't have a blood vessel set up to dissapate it. But it can easilly be induced with sulphurie acid because it is almost completely solable in sulphurie acid. So Urie and sulphuric acid is a usual combination the sprayers spray into people evrywhere. I purposely have not deseribed the usual items called poisons such as arsonie, stychnine, and the others, because one can find them well described in any of the medical books that are avaiable. The sprayers do use them some, such as for the purpose of agrivating their neighbor in their reverssion, in the poisoning of his pets. They use the viruses that are known, and that are the usual, to spray into animals such as the squrrils of the park, to scare people. THIS IS A PSYCOLOGICAL WAR, ALSO! And, of course they do poison some children with such items, when they can control their thinking with their sprays, enough to cause them to be delving into the medicene euboard or elsewhere that they shouldn't be. But my chief interest is to inform you of the main poisoning, the poisoning that has been going on all of the lifetime of man that can and will result in the total destruction of man if not stopped. I do have a selfish interest there, in that I too want to live, And I do want to live the life man was supposed to live. To do otherwise, knowing how it should, and how it can be done would be the same as to commit suicide,as one would be * living a life of less durration than it would be possible for him to live. But I cannot live such a life without making it possible for all others to do so,as the many would see to it that I didn't. It is not my purpose to be the technition in the chemical or the medical field,no in the field of reserch, as we have so many brilliant people in thos fields. And so many more brilliant minds comming to those fields from the class rooms all the time. But I hope I can point out some of the needs of our people for these technitions to work on. THERE IS so MUCH TO LEARN, BEYOND THE TEXT BOOKS OF TODAY! One other poison I would mention is that of CURARI. It is a poison developed from the careass of dead animals as it decomposes. Supposedly this is done in the jungle lands such as in Afria, by the natives. From this decomposition comes a poison that supposedly can stun an elephant in three seconds. And can kill him in less than three minutes. All would be well in the describing of this,as the orrigin of that poison. But when one understands that flesh does not decompose in a natural sence, that there would be only dehydration of the moisture content of the flesh,it can be known that the careass was loaded either befor or after death with a virus or germ, that goes through a time of incubation in that careass to ripen into the deadly poison that it is claimed to be. It would be interesting to know if that virus or germ is induced by those natives, or if it is from people of another land!Of course this means that all animals are so loaded with the viruses and germs, the world over. This being true, it is likely that some of it is transmitable to man if he consumes that flesh, untreated. I have described in other chapters how meat can be treated so as to remove most of the many poisons that is in it. I would mention that it is one thing to rid man of the toxins that would disrupt his systems natural function. But that it is quite another thing to keep these disruptions from reoccurring. It is beyond doubt that EDUCATION is the main defence we have to both problems. And of course there must be an auful lot of reserch go into the formulation of the texts for that education. We must all pass along the bits of knowledge that we find in life, that can be beneficial to all mankind. May GOD BLESS each and every one of you. Sincerely yours, W.Ken W. Ken Ferguson ferguson Donation file 1906 Duke University Loyalty Fund December 26, 1968 Dear Classmate: The end of one year and the beginning of another - an appropriate asrA time to think of good deeds. And one of the best is giving to our Uni- versity, to help the efforts of those devoting their lives to critical educational tasks, to multiply the value of our dollars by investing in progress. This transitional period is a particularly good time to give to Duke. Gifts are tax deductible. This letter may reach you in time to increase your 1968 giving, and deductions, but certainly to permit you to plan ahead for 1969. This is the middle of our 1968-69 Loyalty Fund campaign, with its major milestone goal of $1,000,000. It is the middle of the final year of the Ford Foundation Challenge Grant, when for each $4 we give, Duke will receive $5, and for each $100 there will be $125. This is also just in advance of the winter area campaigns, and a response now will help Duke, your Class Agent, and your Area Chairman. It will help keep our Loyalty Fund, now in its 22nd year, up among the very best such programs in the nation. Our class responded generously to earlier fall appeals. This year, however, we want 100% participation - with each member giving with maxi- mum generosity. The following table indicates the range of gifts needed to reach $1,000,000. RANGE NUMBER TOTAL $1,000 plus 200 $250,000 500-999 225 135,000 250-499 350 105,000 100-249 1,250 150,000 under $100 14,000 360,000 Our continuing Loyalty Fund effort is a mainstay of Duke's annual operating budget. Our Loyalty Fund gifts are for the urgent needs of the immediate present. And it must be re-emphasized that the Loyalty Fund is altogether apart from the Fifth Decade Development Campaign, now in its last year and aimed at another objective, that is increasing Duke's capi- tal resources. If you have not made your Loyalty Fund commitment for 1968-69, will you make it now? Your pledge is important, regardless of how you make pay- ment between now and June 30. Your name on the early honor roll of donors will mean a very great deal. So please return your card now, being as generous as you can, and earn the gratitude of your University and the appreciation of your Class Agent. Sincerely, Dorothy Class Agent L. airheart DEC 31 December 26, 1968 Honorable Bob Wilson, Congressman 2235 Rayburn Office Building Washington, D.C. 20515 Dear Bob: I discussed this topic briefly with you at your party at Sea World. You sug- gested I write you a letter. The topic is Section 3507 of Title V, U.S.Code, the so-called dual compensation act of 1964. I think this law is very unjust and discriminatory to a selected few. Also, I think it could be called a "breach of moral contract" with all persons who decide they will serve our government for twenty years of their lives for the small reward to be gained. When I decided to serve twenty years, the idea of entering civil service at the end was foremost in my mind. I expected to have the same benefits as all retirees. But, lo and behold, almost to the day I retired they passed the new law. My retirement date was 1 June, 1964. I could not possibly have been in civil service six months to retain the maximum benefits. The cut-off date was November, 1964. Not only that, but it was when the bottom dropped out of everything around here by the closing of the Naval Repair Facility - another senseless maneuver. This is how the law affects me. As you know, we are going through an R.I.F. (reduction in force) at Naval Electronics Laboratory Center, where I work, even tho' the Captain was given the choice of waiting until June, 1969, when possibly things could change with the incoming President (he says he is going to build up the labs) or normal attrition takes place. I was caught right away on a bumping procedure, but my department and division heads went to bat for me and got me on a special retention list. I am an electronics tech- nician, GS-9, and I work on Univac Computers and a lot of sophisticated peri- pheral equipment. During the 2½ years I have been at N.E.L.C. I have steadily increased my proficiency until now I am quite good at my work, and my bosses tell me so and want to keep me. However, they have finally been forced by management to abolish another position, and after much discussion the picked mine. If they had picked an engineer, the bumping would have taken the real good ones we have instead of the ones they don't want. It's interesting to note that the whole R.I.F. at N.E.L.C. does not include one single engineer; all are service support and technicians. We have a lot of engineers who have not produced anything of value for years but they are still maintained. I belong to a code that develops and produces new systems for the fleet. We just recently finished the MPDS System for the Oklahoma City (CLG-5). We're working on a larger one for the Nimitz (CVNA-68). So, with the work load increasing, they actually need more people instead of less. On the R.I.F., they have put me in Group IIB, which means I have no Veterans Preference at all. A man that spent 18 months in the Service and has been at Congressman Bob Wilson -2- December 26, 1968 N.E.L.C. for three months is ahead of me. Maybe Congress thought our pension was enough to live on? It is not possible. Also, I work right alongside a technician who had the same rate as I, but he retired before 1964 and all of his rights and all of his time counts. My bosses figure that the Government has $50,000 invested in me in schools alone. I have been to computer programming and others; they did not figure in the money invested in me during my twenty years. For example, $10,000 for Fire Control Technician School alone. Seems a shame to lose all of that training. I feel I've surpassed most of the technicians in my group as far as ability to fix the equipment. Therefore, (long, huh?) I am requesting that you try to do something about their discontinuing the R.I.F. at N.E.L.C. The Government is the loser, as they are getting rid of a lot of real valuable people, preferably before January 29, 1969 (my birthday, incidentally.) Also, I would appreciate it if you would look into the Dual Compensation Law and see how unjust it really is. Maybe introduce a bill to repeal it? I will hold myself available for any questions or investigations that might be forthcoming. I am not one of the submissive government workers. I don't have to be - I'm good at my work and I know it - my bosses know it, too. But, as usual, politics catches up with the people who really try. Thank you in advance for any and all consideration. Very truly yours, Boyd E. Cockerill 3734 La Cresta Drive San Diego, California 92107 BEC:esc cc: President-Elect Nixon P.S.: One factor in this whole mess might be that we have a Univac representative working where I do. He does the same type of technician work I do and, in effect, is filling a position that a civil service worker could be doing. They have many of these employees throughout the N.E.L.C. If, indeed, a R.I.F. is to save money, he could be replaced by a civil servant. Does this contract work violate a public law, if a civil service veteran can do the work? to December 27 1968 Dear mr. nigon, JAN 6 1968 In a recent newspaper column I learned of the appointment of Governor Walter Hickel as Secretary of the Interior, I've enclosed that column for your reference. Even if I were to believe only a small portion of this column the gravity of the charges would require me to question your choice of Govornor Hichel two questions came to mind after I read the Column and I trust you'll answer them for me. First, is the story as told in the attached Column time ? If not, then what is the truth? Sicondly, if the column does represent th truth, how can you possibly appoint Garenor Hichel to such a post ? 20130 It seams quite strange to me that anyone, esperially a lawmaker, would even attempt to egnore the authorization given the Eskimos by the State department and replace their decision with his own. I certainly hope you can clarify this matter for me by answering the above quenstions Sincerely Yours, MICHAEL L. Webb Washinton, D. C. Dear Sir: As I watched the historic flight of Apollo 8 this past week I was constantly aware of the tragic reality that over half the population of this country, indeed, of the entire world, was not represented. As I listened to the archaic and unscientific statements made by reporters of "mans achievement" and "this historic moment of mankind", I felt with great sad- ness the alienation from this great event that all intelligent women must feel. One doesn't need to be very educated to realize the fallacy, both logically and semantically, of man representing women. It's absurd; obviously, only women can represent women. Of course you are not held responsible for society's demeaning and discriminatory vocabulary as it relates to women. However; you are held responsible, by me and future history, for ignoring the now lost opportunity of exhibiting to the rest of the nations of the world our potential for social advancement as well as our advances in scientific technology. Not only would this have been an unparalleled opportunity to give American women their just place in the history of aero- nautics but would have culturally upgraded the whole of human- ity. I know that many qualified and highly motivated women pilots asked to be included in the space program. That these requests have been treated with contempt is not only a failure of our government to adequately represent it's womenkind but a personal shame for the men in NASA who made the decisions upon aeronautical personnel. If the decision to exclude women from astronautical training was based on the close physical quarters of space craft then all I can say, is, what ridiculous Puritan prudishness. Any women intelligent enough to be trained in this field would not be deterred by such considerations. How- ever; I do not think that it was consideration for women that (2) has prompted their exclusion but rather the same old sickening disrespect and prejudice of men for women in any social capacity but one. Intelligent women do not want the so-called "protect- ion" of men if this was a consideration. Indeed, what would the women astronaut need protection from in a spacecraft or the moon? Women would just as bravely risk their lives, as men are allowed to do, in the interest of their country. Many women have in the past. If rather, the exclusion of women is based on "hard-headed" dollars and cents reasoning then this only proves the current opinion of the worth of women. If the training of a women astronaut costs NASA an additional million, it would be wellspent, and but one small million of the billions being spent. If her training took extra time or special accom- modation, then thatextra time and effort must be made for the sake of American's women. I most strongly urge that a women be trained for the next flight to the landing on the moon. If it's too late for training on that flight then women should begin training now for succeeding flights. The failure to in- clude half of our population in the space program is also sym- bolically most regrettable in that for the first time women all over the world could have identified with another women taking an active part in an historic occasion. In one enlight- ened discision NASA could have advanced the human rights of over half the population of the world. There is another matter that should be included in future space plans. That is that half the space ships should have womenly names. It was small and malicious of NASA to call the planned flights to the moon the Apollo series instead of Arte- mis or Diana. After all, historically, men have always denig- atively called the moon fenimine, and when not writing sentimental poetry to "her", made invidious sexual comparisons between the moon and the sun. As usual, though, when anything becomes import- ant men are able to make a fast adjustment to changing the grammatical case to masculine rather inconsistently overlook- ing past associations with the feminine case. Again, this is one more distinctly obvious move that belittles women in the space program. But again, the exclusive use of masculine names does not reflect upon women but does reflect most unfavorably upon the men who make policy decisions. These decisions mark the decision makers, as mean, sexually insecure men whether they are or not. It's unfortunate that this kind of spirit is associated with the striving of humanity towards knowledge of the universe. The purpose of this letter is to gain information as well as to make a statement and urge needed changes. I would like to know exactly who were, or was, responsible for excluding women from the space program. I would like to know exactly who were, or was, responsible for the naming of all our space- craft. And I hope I won't be put off on these requests as it (3) can be answered and someone is ultimately responsible for these decisions. Lastly, I would like to know who to contact for a speaker representing NASA to speak on these matters to a group of dedicated and interested women and men. There must be many millions of people including myself, who are looking forward to an end to government by black- mail on January 20th and the beginning of statesmanship in our government. Eight years of the courtse coddling communist spies and the underworld by our courts is a very long time. I hope you will appoint justices in our courts who will mete out justice to self confessed criminals and communist spies, such as they have not known for many years. Earl Warren can still do a lot of damage to this nation with his rulings on the supreme court. Something will have to be done to reverse some of the supreme court rulings which have been made since Warren was appointed to the supreme court. I have conversed with quite a number of people who are concerned by the court decisions, such as the law enfdrcement officers being hindered by the court rulings in their efforts to convict self confessed criminals. I believe a large majority of the American people have confidence in your integrity. Therefore, please appoint court justices which are beyond reproach. I read an item about honor and integrity about forty years ago, which ended with; "As impeccable and unimpeachable as a supreme court justice". What a pity that our present supreme court justices cannot be so rated. Some press reports indicate that when you attempt to brake. the inflationary forces and a business recession begins, that you will pour more gasoline on the inflation flames. It would be preferable to have a business recession than to continue with the inflation unabated until we have a complete collapse. The quicker the inflation is stopped the better for every one. A base should be formed within a couple of years so that a sound economy can be built on firm business economics. My very best wishes for your success as President of the United States. Sincerely, G.
