Rabbi Korff's organization, the National Citizen's Committee for
Fairness to the Presidency, Inc. is sponsoring its Second Citizen's
Congress in Washington July 18 - 22. The principal formal event
is the International Dinner Tribute to the President of the United
States which will be attended by a number of Administration repre-
sentatives including Anne Armstrong and Secretary Butz, both of
whom are expected to speak. Julie is expected to attend the latter
portion of the dinner, but the extent of her participation has not been
confirmed.
Arrangements have been made for you to make a telephone call that will
be amplified to all of the attendees. The dinner begins at 7:00 p. m.
(4:00 p.m. PDT) and the optimum time for you to call will be after
the guests have finished eating, but before the program begins, at
8:30 p. m. (5:30 p. .m. San Clemente time). No activities will begin
until after your call.
You may place the telephone call to the dinner group at the Shoreham
Hotel from any telephone here in San Clemente. After the telephone
operator informs you that Rabbi Korff is on the line (he will have a
telephone at the head table), your words, and Rabbi Korff's, will be
amplified. The Rabbi will begin with appoximately one-minute of
informal conversation where he is expected to express appreciation
for your recent missions for peace and for this telephone call which
