PRESIDENTIAL TRIP WESTERN WHITE HOUSE TO DEL RIO, TEXAS, TO GULFPORT, MISSISSIPPI TO WASHINGTON, D.C. MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 8, 1969 8:30 a.m. Depart the Western White House via helicopter PDT for El Toro Marine Base. 8:45 a. m. Depart El Toro for Laughlin Air Force Base, Del Rio, Texas. (Flying Time: 2 hours 10 minutes) (Time Change: plus 2 hours) 12:55 p.m. Arrive Laughlin Air Force Base. CDT - Military Cordon Honors. - Proceed directly to helicopter. 1:00 p.m. Helicopter departs for the Amistad Dam site. 1:20 p.m. Arrive Amistad Dam and proceed by motorcade to the top of Dam. 1:25 p.m. Arrive at the top of the Dam. Ambassador Mosbacher will escort the party to the center of the Dam where he will introduce the Party to President Ordaz. 1:30 p.m. Proceed to the dedication platform for the ceremony.
