THE WHITE HOUSE WASHINGTON SUNDAY WORSHIP SERVICE The White House April 26, 1970 11:30 a. m. Yellow Oval Room Coffee: Standard Procedure -- 11:15 a. m. you and Mrs. Nixon are joined in Yellow Oval Room by Reverend and Mrs. John A. Huffman, Jr. and Mr. C. G. Rebozo for coffee before the service begins -- 11:30 a. m. all are escorted to East Room Worship Service: Note CHANGE in order of service --- 11:32 a.m. you deliver opening remarks and take your seat next to Mrs. Nixon CHANGE: The congregation will sing only one hymn and the choir will sing two anthems. -- 12:00 noon the service concludes NOTE: The choir is 30 members of the Laurentian Singers, an a capella choir from St. Lawrence University, Canton, New York, Reception: Note CHANGE -- 12:00 noon photo opportunity with you and Mrs. Nixon and Reverend and Mrs. Huffman in the Grand Hall or outside the North Portico - - 12:05 p.m. you and Mrs. Nixon and Reverend and Mrs. Huffman receive the guests in the State Dining Room CHANGE: Members of the Cabinet, Diplomatic Corps, and the Congress and any other VIP's in attendance will be seated in a special section of the East Room directly behind the First Family.
