THE PRESIDENT:
BACKGROUND
A British television program entitled "This is Your Life -- Bob Hope",
will be aired in England on Tuesday, the 17th. A portion of this program
will be a one-minute message from you paying personal tribute to Bob
Hope. This message will be filmed in the Roosevelt Room and the film
sent immediately to England.
SEQUENCE OF EVENTS
12:50 p.m.
The photo crews will be set up in the Roosevelt Room
with Al Scott in supervision.
You enter and deliver remarks of approximately one
minute in duration from a position seated on the for-
ward edge of a desk that will have been pre-positioned
along the north wall. (Suggested script attached.)
12:55 p.m.
Filming session concludes.
You return to your office.
