You and Mrs. Nixon descend the front ramp followed by the Official Party. 5:35 p.m. You are met by: Ahmad Abdul Wahab (Ah-mud Ab-dool wa-Hab), Chief of Royal Protocol Honorable James E. Akins, American Ambassador Abdul Wahab introduces you and Mrs. Nixon to: King Faisal bin 'Abd al-Aziz al Sa'ud (Fy-sul bin abed al a-Zeez al sa-ood) Crown Prince Khalid bin 'Abd al-Aziz al Sa'ud (Ka-lid) Prince Fawwaz bin 'Abd al-Aziz Sa'ud (fa-Wawz), Governor of Mecca OPEN PRESS COVERAGE CLOSED ARRIVAL NOTE: There will be a 21-gun salute during the official greeting ceremony. You are escorted by King Faisal to a small Honor Stand in front of the Royal Guard for the national anthems.
