In an editorial, Roberts of National Observer charges Steinem went
beyond sense and decency in her recent Press Club remarks about RN.
Perhaps a women's libber who resorts to locker-room jokes is the one
most in need of psychoanalysis. Maybe that's unfair, says Roberts.
"Perhaps Gloria is just a normal woman who, while escheiving marriage
for her own holy reasons, finds a higher satisfaction in making public
wisecracks about the sexual adjustment of the President. 11
