CBS AM News noted that Chisholm's name was not brought up at
the Black Caucus call for a convention and only 2 of her Black M. C.
colleagues have endorsed her.
Whatever happens, notes Time,
Shirley Chisholm's bravado is impressive. She says she has better
experience and education than all but 6 or 7 Presidents and her
IQ is a near genius 160. "I am a very brilliant-minded woman. 11
Newsweek says Chisholm won't give up her delegates unless the
rival promises an Indian for Interior, a woman to run HEW, a black
in the Cabinet and a marked hike in minorities in policy-making jobs.
Yorty said in NH that RN has plunged the nation into a "fiscal
fairyland". He accused the Admin of "robbing the people through
debased currency and a highly inflationary fiscal policy.
Hartke
will enter the Calif. primary.
In a poll with 12% of the students voting, Stanford gave McGovern
30% 13% each for RN and Muskie. Chisholm and McCarthy were
next.
Askew will be the Dem. Keynoter.

past job is "not in keeping with honest gov't. 11

story of the price support reversal and the contributions following it is
detailed with note made that 60 other MCs 34 Dems share the
Admin's embarrassment over the funds. Nader says: "A victory
here will open the way for other suits of this kind. 11

but adding that "RN doubtless wishes Nader would switch from milk

p. 1 feature Human Events calls for campaign funds for Ashbrook
as it discusses "the importance of his Candidacy" even more
important in wake of the deficits, new spending programs and "fresh
concessions offered the Communists in Paris. 11 HE said Ashbrook's
candidacy already has paid off in "concrete concessions from the WH":
1) Veto of the "wildly radical child development bill"; 2) Warm praise
for the Veep on the Rather interview; 3) RN's freshintereot in defense
spending. "The essential fact for conservatives to r emember is that
