on eve of US visit, "Andreotti's gov't is plainly done for. 11
"In a 10-minute burst of eloquent indignation that brought a flashing
memory of Stevenson, Scali served notice to UN that US is going to be
no propaganda patsy during this new period of Mideast rage. " Thus
leads Jerry Greene in a very positive piece on the "strong new US
voice in UN
Scali knows well the power and dangers of gov't
propaganda; he is particularly well qualified to combat it. He'll be
a handy man to have around. 11
Sulzberger writes optimistically of the favorable ambience in New
Delhi as US-India relations head back on track following the Pakistani
war in which C.L. feels US sided w/ Paks to preserve developing
