told him request for CIA help in cover-up came
"higher-up" and followed w/HRH clip as he said RN
had no involvement whatsoever, and that he, HRH,
will be cleared also
NBC w/over 8 minutes, noted
Star report but largely recapped McCord/Odle testimony
to set stage for this week
Mrs. Mitchell's assertion
that husband has been protecting RN and his statement
that he'll not be "fall guy" received some p. 1 attention
Sat/Sun. They were on "60 Minutes" Sun. in replay of
interview of several years ago. Wallace said RN never
made a move w/out Mitchell.
