success prying loose" the POW list "foreshadows a swift end of
the stalemate. 11
Correction: CBS film Wed. nite was of overjoyed Israeli wife
who learned her husband was POW in Syria; not a mother pleased
over news of her son.
"Even if Iran were unfriendly, top officials of one govt aren't
supposed to engage in such polemical attacks on leaders of another"
as Simon did re: Shah, says Inquirer after noting Iran is a US
ally and hasn't been an embargo participant. "Simon's own reckless
and irresponsible/werent remarks t helpful to anyone.
