    "ocrText": "THE PRESIDENT HAS SEEN\n1:\nNEWS SUMMARY\nApril 11, 1974\n(Wed. nets, wires)\nThe major stories:\n-- Judiciary expected Thurs. to vote subpoena. This \"new and\nmore ominous stage\" led NBC and was #2 on ABC/CBS w/\nemphasis on all nets on deep GOP dissatisfaction. On each\nshow, ranking GOP Hutchinson said tone of JSC letter was\n\"offensive\" to House and continues the WH approach of \"we'll\ndecide what you need and you darn well better be happy w/it. 11\nAlso on all shows was McClory saying subpoena will \"un-\ndoubtedly\" be okayed, altho he's not sure how effective it'll\nbe.\nABC said Rhodes and others were making 11th hour\nefforts to persuade WH to amend the letter. Unless it does\nso, said ABC, subpoena seems certain.\nCBS noted\nRhodes said WH didn't make the letter as accommodating as\nhe'd hoped. NBC said Scott and other GOP leaders were also\ndissatisfied.\nW'gate Comm. believes it's come across something hot w/\nKalmbach's testimony on Hughes money, reported NBC and it's\nsubpoenaed RMW and Don Nixon land and loan records. Stern\nsaid Comm. feels it may end w/as big a bang as it started.\nCBS reported Jaworski has new testimony indicating that\nJBC accepted $10, 000 in milk money in 3/72, 10 months after\n1st turning it down.\nABC reported JDE, Colson, JNM & Strachan\nasked that Sirica be disqualified from conducting trial because\nhe has \"a deep-seated and unshakable personal bias in favor of the\nprosecution. 11\nRN in Mich. led CBS w/3 minute report. Very good film on\nall shows reflecting what NBC said in #3 story: People came\nfrom all around; it seemed as if entire population turned out.\nAlso #3 ABC where friendly crowds, carrying signs supporting\nRN, filled screen along motorcade route. All nets also noted\nsome critical signs\nCBS said there was still question who"
