BOEING AND THE SST
1. If cost as high as Allen projected, why did Administration go for
a sure-fire defeat ?
SST was good for America now, good for America in the
future. Deeply regret blow to ærospace industry, to fine team
of American engineers and workers who gave us the lead, and
who have been "benched" by the Congress -- when they could
have regained America's air supremacy. (Perhaps use
TV footage of the Soviet SST, which is the star of the Paris
Air Show.)
