COPY July 16, 1954 Dear Mayor Tibbits: This is just a note to tell you how very much I appreciated all of the courtesies which were extended to me by you and the residents of Glens Falls when I landed there on Monday to participate in the Governors' Conference. I thought you might like to know that we have forwarded the tomahawk from the local Boy Scout Tropp to the President and I know he was very pleased to receive it. With very best wishes, Sincerely, Richard Nixon The Honorable Milton Tibbits The Mayor of Glens Falls 42 Ridge Street Glens Falls, New York Reproduced at the Richard Nixon Presidential Library and Museum
