PERSONAL AND -CONF IDENTIAL - 11 - G ONLY 1 have not tried to tie this into your own admirable staff because I am sure that they will be completely occupied, in the ways that General Cushman, Hughes, and McWhorter, and the rest have already learned to serve you, on expanded duties in the tremendous number of personal arrangements and management problems which your new duties require. I am confident that Rose Wood will continue to grow and measure up to the responsibilities which your own leadership has thrust on her also. The problem of your secretarial staff and research set-up for speeches I have barely touched on but it is one I would like to discuss with you rather than add anything more to this already too long letter. I hope this will nevertheless prove useful. Sincerely always, Bill William Y.
