COPY May 29, 1957 Mr. Kokan Yasuma Principal of the Yamanashi Kindergarten 1932 Nirasaki City, Yamanashi-Ken Japan Dear Mr. Yasuma: On behalf of the Vice President, I would like to acknowledge your letter of May 17 telling him of Mr. Mitsui's plans to do a portrait of him. I will certainly inform the Vice President of this and I know he will be very pleased and honored to have the portrait. a picture I am afraid we do not have the kind of picture of the Vice President described in your letter, but I am enclosing two which I hope will be satisfactory. You may be sure he will appreciate your writing as you did and I know that he would want me to extend his best wishes to you. Sincerely, Robert L.
