Dear Clem:
At the Cabinet dinner last night Mrs. Richardson
spoke in glowing terms of the work you had done
both at the White House and at the State Depart-
ment, and the purpose of this note is simply to
say that you have my grateful appreciation and
my hope that you will continue to push forward
aggressively at the White House on other rooms
where renovation should be attempted.
