Elephant Painting
I understand that you are familiar with the
background of the large elephant oil painting
which was commissioned by the Safari Club
of Washington for President Nixon.
Since Mr. Klein will be leaving, we would like
to move the painting before someone kicks a
hole in it. The one area which is yet unsolved --
Ed Blecksmith, who was working on this for
our staff, left several weeks ago -- is whether
or not Dr. Carl Jonas received a letter of
thanks from the President. If he hasn't, I am
going to put together enough so that one can be
done.
The picture is on the way, if it hasn't preceeded
this memorandum!
