Faith Whittlesey has given me your letter
suggesting that there be a fully staffed chapel
at the Republican Convention in Dallas next summer.
This proposal is most interesting, and it is
clear that you have given careful thought to the
necessary arrangements.
As you may know, the Republican Convention is
a political activity which is organized by the
national Republican Party and not by the White
House.
I recommend that you work with Mr. Frank
Fahrenkopf, the Chairman of the Republican National
Committee, on this project. His address is:

I NEED YOUR HELP.
By November 1st I must complete my TV special GOD X-RATED.
This will be the most important TV special to air this fall on major stations
throughout the United States. This TV special will show how God has been X-RATED not
only from our schools but from dozens of other public institutions as well.
This title was chosen to get the attention of the non-Christian. The aim of this
program is to show the general population of this nation what atheism and humanism is

THANKSGIVING is a very special time in America. From the first Pilgram
fathers to the last person from another country arriving in America for a new
life and in quest of freedom has been a great time of hope and blessing as well
as a great time of sorrow.
When people leave another country to come to America they leave behind the
way of life and traditions their ancestors have known. They leave behind family,
friends and all material possessions. We, of the Tran Family, are among the
thousands of new Americans who have arrived from Viet Naum, thanks to Gerald
Ford and the leaders of America who gave us this opportunity to flee our country
and its 4,000 year old tradition. We lost everything but our lives.
In Viet Naum we owned a new 1,000 seat movie theatre, a 75 table restaurant
two hotels with 88 rooms and baths, and our Villa. We lost all our possessions
but most dear to our hearts, many wonderful kinfolk, friends and our Country. We
had almost 100 employees working for us in our businesses.
When we came to Indiantown Gap Refugee Camp we found new friends in America
who came to be our sponsers in our new land, "AMERICA". Our hearts were comple-
tely crushed over our great suffering and losses; but, as we found new hope, new
love and new friends, we took new courage.
This is our third Thanksgiving in America. Our hearts are very sad daily for
our native country which is now a slave of communism. We find America very new
and strange and it is hard to learn to understand and make a new life. This Than-
ksgiving we have many things to give thanks for.
First, we give thanks to be alive and free in America and that our lovely fam-
ily of eleven are all here together. We give thanks to President Gerald Ford and
the American people who made the Refugee Camps possible, who gave us a chance to
make a new home and a new life, and especially for being our friends and sponsors
in our time of need.
Now we have a small Restaurant in our new country; the "IMPERIAL PALACE" at
5th and Bridge Streets in New Cumberland. The whole family works very hard seven
days a week preparing food for the hungry. We do our best and our growing number
of friends and customers are testimony that our fellow Americans like and enjoy
our food.

NEWS RELEASE -- FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
A project to present each member of Congress with a copy of My
Life Without God, a testimony of Bill Murray, has been initiated by
Wayne Neal, missionary to Capitol Hill, Washington, D.C. Rev. Neal
will deliver these books in person with a personal cover letter.
Rev. Neal started to minister in this area of outreach in 1974
when he worked as coordinator with Sam Houston Johnson, LBJ's broth-
er. Rev. Neal and Mr. Johnson initiated what was known as "Patriot-
ism -- Pray for those in Authority" rallies in many areas of America
with unusual results and top media coverage. In 1975 Parade maga-
zine carried the news: "LBJ's Brother Finds New Life." Also, in
1977, Newsweek magazine carried the same message. In historic 1976
two rallies "For Jesus" were held in washington, D.C.
In 1980 Rev. Neal worked for four months as coordinator for
Bill Murray when he reversed his atheistic role and attempted to
"correct the crime done in his name," such as the removal of prayer
and the Bible from public schools in America. Bill was fourteen
when his mother used his name in the lawsuits to remove prayer from
American public schools.
This new project will be a major effort to inform each member
of Congress with the full story behind the removal of prayer from
public schools and Bill's efforts, involving the key points he makes
to clear the facts involved with the total life-style and left-wing
activities pursued by Bill and his mother. Bill finally awakened
and became a believer in Jesus Christ and his true teachings. of the
principals which have made America a nation under God, which it has
been from its inception. In every era of American history it has
been the world's greatest nation of freedom.
Rev. Neal will be attempting to demonstrate the relationship
of removing prayer and the Bible from public schools and, from that
date, the ever-increasing public school problems. Number one is

himself an outspoken crusader for atheism. But today he is
one of America's leading spokesmen for Christianity. The
message that follows was given at Sweetwater Church of
the Valley in November of 1980.

You see, District of Columbia voters have approved a proposed state constitu-
tion and now all it takes is a simple majority vote by both houses of Congress to
make "New Columbia" the 51st state.
This D.C. constitution has every hare-brained liberal scheme of the 1960's and
then some.
In fact, the communist Party USA has taken credit for writing the constitution.
An article in the Communist Party's newspaper, DAILY WORLD, states, "It's fair
to say that the Constitution for the State of New Columbia bears the imprint of Mau-
rice Jackson, the chairman of the Communist Party of the District of Columbia and
Virginia."
Imagine, the nation's capitol having a constitution framed by the Communists.
That's why I'm taking this poll.
To prove to Congress that the American people are opposed to making Washing-
ton, D.C. the 51st state.
I hope to expand my poll to 500,000 concerned Americans around the country.
And I will release the results of my poll to key members of Congress and the
national news media.
Remember, the liberals need only a majority vote in Congress to admit "New Co-
lumbia" as the 51st state.

Now let me tell you why I'm opposed to making the District of Columbia the 51st
state.
First of all, the founders of this great nation set eside the District of Co-
lumbia to be the nation's capitol the seat of government.
They didn't want it to be a state or a part of any other state.
Secondly, the proposed constitution for this "new state" is unfit for our na-
tion's capitol.
One provision of the-constitution gives the people. the "right" to engage in
sodomy, adultery, and other previously restricted perverted acts.
The constitution would also force employers to hire homosexuals, even if it is
against their own religious beliefs to do SO.
Article I, Section 4 of the constitution gives women the absolute right to have
an abortion at any time during their pregnancy.
Another provision gives public employees (like policemen and firemen) the right
to strike.
Another liberal scheme of the 1960's the guaranteed annual income found its
way into this constitution. This provision alone would bankrupt the new state.

And there are numerous provisions which would namper police in their efforts
to fight crime.
In short, the ultra-liberals want to turn the District of Columbia into a grand
experiment- our expense.
Remember, 'the Communist Party USA is taking credit for framing this constitu-
tion.
That's why I'm so strongly opposed to this plan.
And that's why the Lincoln Institute is sponsoring this national opinion poll--
to prove that the American people are opposed to this hare-braired scheme.

Dear Friend In Christ:
I never dreamed I would be writing a letter such as this to you on my
37th birthday. Just a few days ago I was contemplating my very first vacation
in four years. Now I have learned a vacation is impossible. In fact Satan has
dealt a blow to me which is severe.
My ministry began at age 33, the same age at which the ministry of our
Lord ended on Earth. Since that time I have seen thousands saved as was I from
lives of sin and shame. In fact, since January of this year over 4,000 have
been saved in the rallies and services of this ministry.
BUT, IT SEEMS THIS TIME IN MY LIFE MAY HAVE ENDED.
My only thought after I was saved was to serve HIM. The Lord became my
beacon. My life for these past years has been only to follow Him and to do HIS
will.
My voice has not yet been silenced. I have been able to tell the truth of
how prayer, morality and God himself have been removed from our schools. I
have shown the devastation done to a family which has atheism as its founda-
tion rather than Christ.
I have suffered much abuse and criticism for making public the truth of
the connection between the effort in the 1960's and 1970's to destroy this
nation and the removal of God from government.
All of the royalties from my book, MY LIFE WITHOUT GOD were assigned to
the ministry so that I could continue His work.
BUT, THE ROYALTIES FROM THE BOOK ARE GONE.
All of my secular earnings for the past several years have been given to
this ministry. So much do I believe in the importance of the Great Commission
that I have taken nothing for myself.
I live alone in a small rented apartment in Garland, Texas. My 1979

Just this morning I was thinking of all those who have
supported the William J. Murray Faith Foundation during 1983.
Those of you who have contributed in some way are special to
me, and not just financially. I am also thinking of those who
have prayed for the Foundation and those who have volunteered
their services. Without each and everyone of you we would not
be able to continue our work for HIM who is greater than we.
This year OUTREACH 83 really has a very special meaning to
me. My mother is now 64 years old and in very poor health. Even
so she continues to proclaim Satan. This may be the last year
she will be able to attend her own atheist convention. So, Mr.
Blackwell, this may be the last year I will be able to reach
out to her with the saving gospel of Jesus Christ. It is my
prayer this will be the year that she is SAVED.
The First Baptist Church of San Francisco will be the
Foundation's host during our stay in San Francisco. Ads will be
placed in the local papers inviting all the atheists at their
convention (including my mother and brother) to come to know
Christ as Savior. Our budget has been set and I know in my
heart the FATHER will supply our every need. My uncle has asked
that I take him to San Francisco to see his sister one last
time. He is now 67 and not able to travel much do to physical
problems. I told him he would have to trust in God for his
need. I continue to pray his need will be met.

Our work continues in preparation for OUTREACH '83 in San Francisco, California. This ministry of chal-
lenging atheismism is vitally important in today's society where Satan is more blatantly active than ever
before. Not only does the Faith Foundation reach out to the atheist with Christ Jesus and His wonderful
saving GRACE, but we counter their blasphemies in the newspapers and on television.
Some of the atheist speakers to be featured at this year's atheist convention in San Francisco are listed as

The Gay Atheist will use the atheist's convention to encourage continued distribution of atheist

I know that this information is alarming and almost unfathomable to many of you, but all of these LIES and
many more will be proclaimed at this year's atheist convention. Our LORD JESUS CHRIST will be

I really want to show my appreciation for the help which you have given
this ministry so far this year. Last month my 5 year old daughter, Jade, saw a
very beautiful lapel pin in a catalog and ask me to get it for her. The pin had
the U.S. flag and a Christian flag together. I was unable to locate one in any
shops. Finally I located a wholesale house which had them available.
When I went to get it I thought of all those who had given sacrificially to
help with my work to reach the lost with the Gospel. I know those who give of
themselves to this ministry are not ashamed to be Christians and Americans. I
knew each one of those sacrificial givers would appreciate this lapel pin.
I did not want to use any ministry funds for these and sought the advise of
the Lord as to what to do. The answer came the next day. One individual provided
the funds to send each family who supports this ministry one of the pins. He
said he knew he would be blessed by being able to furnish to others a means of
expressing their witness for Christ. I have enclosed the lapel pin with this
letter. It is my prayer it will give you as much pleasure as it gave the giver
of it.
The April Faith Bulletin has been mailed to you. It contains the details of
the great success of OUTREACH 83. Thousands were reached with the Gospel because
of our crusade in San Francisco. Each day ever greater opportunities come forth
for this ministry. We have been blessed with the number of people we have been

I am one of the two sons of atheist leader MADALYN MURRAY O'HAIR.
Unlike my brother Jon, who is still an atheist, I am a Born Again
Believer and Jesus Christ is "LORD" of my life. Every year my brother

during EASTER week.
Each year I take a crusade to the city in which the atheists
hold their annual convention. I place large advertisements in local
newspapers (see enclosed) and set up counseling centers. Last year's
crusade saw 3 of the 120 atheists that were in attendance at the
atheist's convention, SAVED!!!
This year I am praying for an even greater miracle. I am asking
God to work wonders through this crusade and am praying that numerous
atheists would have their eyes opened to the GLORY and TRUTH of Jesus
Christ, the King of kings.
I would like to extend an invitation to your church to participate
as well. Will you please lead your congregation in prayer for this
ministry and for this year's crusade? I pray for God to lead you
with regard to helping finance this year's crusade. If all of the
churches will just give according to the leading of the Holy Spirit,
I know that the Lord will allow us to meet our budget for this year's

atheists who would be exposed to the newspapers' contents. We are going to repeat this procedure in San
Franciso this year. Phone lines will also be set up and trained counselors will be available to answer the
calls of the atheists YES, they will call. We received dozens of calls last year in Washington, D.C. from
AAA's (Angry, Argumentative, Atheist) and three of these AAA's came to know our precious Lord Jesus
Christ. Praise God!!!
This year the FAITH FOUNDATION Organization will not sponsor any banquets, as we did previously
while in Washington, D.C. They are just too costly and remove us from our "GOAL" of reaching those who
are not saved. A total budget of only $12,000 has been set for this our Lord's endeavor. This figure
represents only 30% of the budget that will be used to fund the atheist convention. I cannot thank my
readers enough for their continued prayer and faithful support throughout this past year. We are excited to
say that the FAITH FOUNDATION is going forward and trusting GOD to meet its needs, for this is a caring
and sharing ministry, and we have found it to be true that we cannot outgive GOD who so richly blesses us
every day of our lives.
