year Student Body President Mikefennings presented me
with they your gift the very beautiful painting and
the charles Russell book. 1 know he has probably
told you (as asked him L) how very much & appreciate
your great kindness and your friendship.
But sitting have at my desk in the One office
looking at the message on the card signed by your
student body officiens & Senior Senate members d feet the
urge to also a send a thank you. I smithing
d know something went wrong when d was in Theat
Falls last autmon and the precentation you had planned
didn't take place. I'm happy that things have been
put right. of come it would have been nicer it
d could have come back to Russell instead of you
having to come To Wash.
But, again, my heartfelt thanks 8 best wishes 15
you all.

It was good to hear from you and I'm sorry
about my own lack of writing. I'm afraid the days go by
with me always thinking things will sattle drun. It's about
time I guess for me to valize this is probably the regular
pace & adjust to it.
Margorie d dont know what the admiral 0 his
organization are going to recommend but I have to say
it wont accomplish the things you listed because we ive
already done that, hen me came here there was no
