President Ronald Reagan
The White House
1600 Pennsylvania Ave.
Washington, D.C.
Dear Mr. President:
I have learned that we have more in common than our backgrounds as
outstanding college football players. According to a newspaper story
someone brought to my attention, your lucky number is 33, the one you
wore as a college football player.
Maybe it's just coincidence, but I have been named team captain and
I'm having the best rushing year of my career during your first year
in the White House. I'd like to think it has something to do with
our lucky 33.
Therefore, in an effort to strengthen the power of our 33 and guide
us to even greater achievements, I would like to present you with my
Dallas Cowboys No. 33 game jersey.
On behalf of the entire Dallas Cowboys organization, I wish you all
the good health and success that life can bring.
Sincerely,
TD:jm
