Date
:
October 13, 1969
Subject: DeMolay Award
From :
Pat Gayman
Today at 1:30 you are to be presented the
International Supreme Council's Medal of
Appreciation for the citizen who has done
the most to advance the ideals and the
principles of God and country.
Rev. Frank Gigliotti will make the presentation.
(You call him "Frank" -- he has had numerous
contacts with this office and has represented
you at functions. He has recently written
you indicating that he would like to be a
member of the Governor's Advisory Committee
on Children and Youth. Obviously, no decisions
on this have been made yet. Also, he indicates
that Eleanor Ring has asked him to help on a
committee for your re-election. Because of
time limitations, hopefully there will not be
time for Dr. Gigliotti to go into all of this.)
Expected to be present, also, are:
Mr. Homer Rathbun from Union Oil, who
is the Executive Officer of the
DeMolay for Southern California, and
Mr. Henry Clausen, Deputy Sovereign Grand
Commander for Scottish Rite.
