I was delighted to join you and all the great names who came to
honor, among others, my good friend and former Eureko College
football coach, Rolph McKinzie, at the 47th Annual Awards
Dinner of The Touchdown Club of Washington, Ralph has not
only been a terrific coach over the years but also a fine human
being, and I was proud to present him with 0 "Mr. Sam Award."
It was a memorable evening, and I am grateful for having been
part of it. Many thanks.
I also want to express my appreciation for the special ploque and
the "Distinguished Guest" medal which you presented on behalf of
the Officers, Board of Governors and Members of The Touchdown
Club of Washington. These tokens of friendship will be prominently
displayed among my collection of sports memorabilio.
