Affidavits of Witnesses in Support of the Foregoing Petition. Thousan Hillay and Frand Martic Burguau witnesses upon behalf of the afore-named applicant Brick Thayer being first duly sworn, each for himself, and not one for the other, deposes and says: I am a citizen of the Uuited States of America, and am well acquainted with Blace Brock Thayer the applicant afore-named; that said applicant has resided within the United States continuously for at least five years last past, and has resided within the State of California for the year preceding his application hereinbefore set forth. That during the last three years of his minority, said applicant resided within the United States, and that for the two years last past it has been his bona fide intention to become a citizen of the United States of America. That during all the time of my acquaintance with said applicant, he has behaved as a man of good moral character, attached to the principles of the Constitution of the United States, and well disposed to the good order and bappiness of the same. I do fur- ther solemnly swear that to the best of my knowledge, information and belief the said Isaac Brack thayer does not disbelieve in, nor is he opposed to all organized government, nor is he a member of, or affiliated with any organization entertaining, or teaching disbelief in, or opposition to all organized government; that he does not advocate or teach the duty, necessity or propriety of the unlawful assaulting or killing of any officer or officers, either of specific individuals or of officers generally of the Government of the United States, or of any other organized government, because of his or their official character: and that he has not at any time violated any of the provisions of the Act of Congress approved March 3, 1903, entitled "An Act to regulate the immigration of aliens into the United States." D. 1905, being a session day of said Court, Isaac Brock Thayer an alien, a native of banada and late a subject of the King of Great Britain appeared in said Court and applied to said Court to be admitted a Citizen of the UWited States of America, pursuant to the Acts of Congress in relation thereto. And the said Isaac Brock Thajer having then and there exhibited to the beurt a certified copy of his declaration of intention to become a citizen of the United states of aurerica madein the District bourt of the beunity of Holt, State of nebracka, out the 29th day of June, a. D. 1893, and having proved to the satisfaction of the Court by the oaths of his witnesses, citizens of the United States of America, his residence within the United States for the last five years, and his residence within Thomas Millacy and Frank Martin Burgman the State of California for the last year, and that during all said time he has behaved as a man of good moral character, attached to the principles of the Constitution of the United States, and well disposed to the good order and happiness of the same. And it further appearing to the Court from the affidavit of said applicant, and the affidavits of said witnesses (all of which affidavits are on file and of record in this Court), that the said Isaac Brock Thayer is not a person who disbelieves in or who is opposed to all organized goverimieut; that he is not a member of, or affiliated with any organization entertaining, or teaching disbelief in, or opposition to all organized government; that he does not advocate or teach the duty, necessity or propriety of the unlawful assaulting or killing of any officer or officers, either of specific individuals or of officers generally, of the Government of the Uuited States, or of any other organized government, because of his or their official character; and that he has not violated any of the provisions of the Act of Congress approved March 3, 1903, entitled "An Act to regulate the immigration of aliens into the United States." is entitled to be made a Citizen of the United States; and he having on oath-then declared, before said Court, that he will And it appearing to the Court from the evidence adduced, that the said Isaac Bever Theyer support the Constitution of the United States of America, and that he doth absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to every foreign Prince, Potentate, State or Sovereignty whatever, and particularly to Edward VII, Kung of greatrition Whereupon it is Ordered by the Court that the said Isaac Bruck Thayer be admitted, and he is hereby adjudged and declared to be a Citizen of the United States of America.
