My full name is\nEdmund Deneke\nSecond. My place of residence is number Lemin\ntown of\nLemon Grore\nState of Culifornia\nThird. My occupation is\nFarmer\nFourth. I was born on the 13th day of may\n, anno Domini 1861 at\nFifth. I emigrated to the United States from\nKellvery hermany\nGermany\nk.\non or about the\nday of\nanno Domini 1 881 and arrived at the port of\nSixth. I declared my intention to become a citizen of the Unifed States on the 3ml\nnewyork\nin the United States, on the vessel\nDond\nJuly\nday of\nOctober\nanno Domini 1 885\nat\nBuycornty - michigan\nin the\ncircuit\nSeventh.\nI\nam\nmarried. My wife's name is\nLena\nDeneke\nCourt of Bay Country. miching an\nShe was born\nin\nKeelberg. hermany\n,\nand now resides at\nLemm hime California\n-\nI have no children,\nd\nand the name, date and place of birth, and place of residence of each of said ehildren is as follows:\ned\nrd\nEighth. I am not a disbeliever in or opposed to organized government or a member of or affiliated with 'any organization or body of persons teaching disbelief in organized\nto\ngovernment. I am not a polygamist nor a believer in the practice of polygamy. I am attached to the principles of the Constitution of the United States, and it is my intention\nto\nbecome a eitizen of the United States and to renounce absolutely and forever all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign prince, potentate, state, or sovereignty, and particularly :o\nEmperm of\nof\nwhich\nat\nthis\ntime\nI\nam\na\nsubject,\nand\nit\nis\nmy\nintention\nto\nreside\npermanently in the United States.\nWinth. I am able to speak the English language.\nTenth. I have resided continuously in the United States of America for a term of five years at least immediately preceding the date of this petition, to wit, since\nthe\n16th day of July\nanno Damini 1881\nState\nand\nin\nthe\n15th\nTommitory\nof\npreeeding the date of this petition, to wit, since the\nday of\ncectorer\nCalifornia\nfor one year at. least next\nanno Domini 1904\nEleventh. I have not heretofore made petition for eitizenship to any court. (I made petition for eitizenship to the\nCourt of\nat\non the\nday of\nanno Domini 1\nand the\nsaid petition was denied by the said Court for the following reasons and causes, to wit,\nand the cause of such denial has since been cured or removed.)\nAttached hereto and made a part of this petition are my declaration of intention to become a eitizen of the United Siates and the certificate from the Department of Commerce\nand Labor required by law.
