San Diego, My\n(2) occupation is\nCarpenter\n(3) I was born in Kirkcaldy, $cotland\non\nJune 24 1878\nMy race is Scotch\n(4) I declared my intention to become a citizen of the United States on July 3 1926\nin the Superior\nCourt of\nCalifornia\nat\nSan Diego, California\n(5) I am\n- married. The name of my wife or is Annie\nwe were on\nmarried September 14 1908\nat\nRagina, Ganada\n; he was\nborn at\nKirkealdy, Scotland\non\nJune 6 1881\n: entered the United States\nat San Francisco, Calif.\non\nAugust 3 1923\nfor permanent residence therein, and now\nresides at\nLemon Grove, California\nI have\n5. children, and the name, date,\nand place of birth, and place of residence of each of said children are as follows: Annie G. Sep.11,1909, Regina, Ganada;\nDavi d, June 1912, Regi na., Ganada; Milliam B. Mey 0,1915, Fairy Hill,\nCanada; Jean M., Spp. 27, 1920 Bairy Hill, Canada; George R.g Sep. 27y1920\nFairy Hill, Canada; All diving at. Lemon Grove, California.\n(8) My last foreign residence was\nFairy Hill\nCanada\nI emigrated to the United States of\nAmerica from\nVictoria\nCanada\nMy lawful entry for permanent residence in the United States\nwas\nat San Franc: sco, Calif aunder the name of\nGeorge Simpson\non\nJuly 29 1923\non the vessel\nDorothy Alexander\nas shown by the certificate of my arrival attached hereto.\nand well disposed to the good order and happiness of the United States. It is my intention to become a citizen of the United States and to renounce absolutely and\nto organized government. I am not a polygamist nor a believer in the practice of polygamy. I am attached to the principles of the Constitution of the United States\n(7) I am not a disbeliever in or opposed to organized government or a member of or affiliated with any organization or body of persons teaching disbelief in or opposed\nforever all allegiance and didelity to any foreign prince, potentate, state, or soyereignty, and partiquiarly to\nGeorge V. by the grace of God, of Great Britain, Ireland and the British\nDominions beyond the Seas King, Defender of the Faith, Emperor of India.\nof whom (which) at this time I am a subject (or citizen), and it is my intention to reside permanently in the United States. (8) I am able to speak the English language.\n(9) I have resided continuously in the United States of America for the term of five years at least immediately preceding the date of this petition, to wit, since\nJuly 29 1923\nand in the County of\nSan Diego\nthis State, continuously next preceding the date of this petition, since\nAugust 3 1923\nbeing a residence within said county of at least\nsix months next preceding the date of this petition.\n(10)\nI\nhave not heretofore made petition for citizenship: Number\non\nat\nand such petition was denied by that Court for the following reasons and causes, to wit:\nand the cause of such denial has since been cured or removed.\nAttached hereto and made a part of this. my petition for citizenship, are my declaration of intention to become a citizen of the United States, certificate from the\nDepartment of Labor of my said arrival, and the affidavits of the two verifying witnesses required by law.\nWherefore, I, your petitioner, pray that I may be admitted a citizen of the United States of America, and that my name\nbe\nchanged\nto\n- - -\nI, your aforesald petitioner being duly sworn. depose and say that I have\nread\nheard-read\nthis petition and know the contents thereof; that the same is true of\nmy own knowledge except as to matters herein stated to be alleged upon information and Defref, and that as to those matters I it to be true; and that this petition\nis signed by me with my full, true name.\nGeorge Limpson\n(Complete and true signature of petitioner)\nAFFIDAVITS OF WITNESSES\nAgnas R.
