February 3, 1917. February 1st, I interviewed Mr. Graves, General Purchasing Agent of Hart-Hegeman & Company, who informed me that they have been investigating the luminous line for some time in conjunction with the Standard Chemical Company of Pittsburgh. Mt. Graves was evidently impressed by our abiltity to handle the business and I left samples of the luminous watch cards with him and he informed me that although they were interested in the luminous line at the present time, he doubted if they would be able to market it in time to come. Their factory was running full capacity and they had orders on hand which would carry them for about one year. I suggested that I send samples to him SO he might have the information on hand when they would take it up again. P. M. Willis,
