Dear Dr. Drinker:
Your letter of the 12th arrived this morning.
Yesterday afternoon I received quite a voluminous report from Mr.
Viedt which makes me more than ever desirous of running over to Boston
to see you. His report is in such great disagreement with your
conclusions that I believe it is a matter for careful consideration,
but prefer discussion to voluminous correspondence.
In the meantime, he is in so far as possible,
carrying out your recomendations, but apparently believes that this
will in no way alter conditions.
After you have the results with animals, it is
probably that I shall be in a position to leave here and will then
visit you in Boston.
