THEODOR BLUM, D.D.S., M.D. 140 WEST FIFTY-SEVENTH STREET NEW YORK CITY June 14, 1924. United States Radium Corp., 422 Alden Street, Orange, N.J. Gentlemen: Mrs. Hazel Kuser who had been in your employ a few years ago, has been under my care for a good many months. She is at present again in the hospital after I operated on her last Wednesday. Her condition is not good and I feel that she needs good care which these poor people cannot afford to get. In fact, to go to the hospital they had to borrow money on their furniture. It is not at present a question of whether or not your firm is responsible, but I feel that if you have the money to spare you should let them have it in some way so that Mrs Kuser may be able to pay for everything except the actual medical and surgical care which so far everybody was glad to give. I shall be only too pleased to receive the money and pay for her bills returning the receipted bills to you without telling anyone who is taking care of it. Her case is urgent and it is for this reason that I am taking the liberty of writing to you and do hope that you will take my letter in the spirit in which it was written. Anticipating a reply at an early date, I am Yours very truly, Theodor 20am. TB.GR 1 Paulul
