Mr. Viedt
PERSONAL
Dear Harold:
I am sending enclosed two letters just received from
Dr. Drinker, both dated June 27, also a copy of my reply.
It seems to me of the greatest importence that wetabulate
for each operator the periods of service to determine how contimuously
each one was employed in our Plant. A careful analysis of the
pay rolls will give you a schedule that may be of greatest value in the
present situation.
This means quite a lot of clerical work, but I
think it is well worth while doing, and suggest that you have some one
other than the regular office girls make the analysis. It should be
done intelligently, Perhaps you could do some and Bartmann could
help. Victor would be helpful also.
Another matter that I think should have attention soon is
the carrying out of the precautionary measures that Dr. Drinker recommended
in his first report.
Yours truly,
- A. Roeder -
