ERWIN AND ERWIN,
Counsellors at Law
99 Lembeck Ave.,
Jersey City, N. J.
October 24th, 1924.
Radium Luminous Corporation,
Alden Street,
Orange, N. J.
Gentlemen:-
We have been retained by Mr. Theodore Kuser, with
regard to certain injuries which his wife, Mrs. Hazel Kuser, sus-
tained while in your employ, as a result of the handling of radium
in her performance of the duties required of her. We understand
from Mr. Kuser that his wife has been in a critical condition
for some time and has had to undergo inmumerable operations and has
suffered to a great extent, and that in all probability she will
not recover from the effects of the disease which she contracted
while in your employ.
We have advised our clients that they have a just
claim against your company for loss of service, injuries, expenses
incurred, etc., and although we are not at the present time pre-
pared to make an estimate of the damages sustained, this is simply
to notify you that we have been retained in this connection and ask
that you notify us of what your intentions may be in the matter.
We would also appreciate your advising us as to the
name of your attorneys, in order that we may explain the situation
to them.
Very truly yours,
ERWIN & ERWIN,
Per. (Signed) Thomas B. Davidson.
