NITER STATES
CORP.
Edward R. McGlynn, Esq.,
810 Broad St.,
Oity.
Dear Mr. McGlynn,
I talked with Mr. Roeder on Tuesday morning last.
He has communicated with Dr. Flinn of Columbia University
Health School and believes that Dr. Washington should have
an interview with Dr. Flinn before he examines the plaintiff.
Will you try to arrange for this?
Mr. Roach, some time ago, became very insistent
that he be given a copy of Dr. Drinker's report and, in fact,
he communicated with Dr. Drinker about the matter. Dr.Drinker
in turn, stated that if Roeder would not give a copy of the
report to Mr. Roach he, Drinker, would publish the result of
his
investigation. At Mr. Roeder's request I saw Mr. Roach
yesterday and showed him the report, although I told him that
in view of all the circunstances we did not wish to leave it
with him or to have it lodged in his department. He seemed to
agrae with my view and said he would take the matter up with
Mr. MacBride. He told me, however, that the Commissioner of
Labor Statistics of the Uni ted States had been requested by
him to make a survey of the health of employees in plants
