As Doctor Sanford has mentioned to you, it is our aim to ward off any local or systomic effect in our workers. I have observed some of them in whom no effect has been noted and they have been in the worl for many years. In my experience, I do recall a fow, however, who developed lassitude and lack of appetite, and I recommended that they discontimo the work. The local or digital effect in those who handle Tadium is obvious and certain to happen if precautions are not taken. The systemic effect que to long exposure to the mass of radium is not so well established. I am enclosing the literature as well as two reprints. I shall be glad to keep in touch with you and learn of the developments from time to time.
